Biographies
The Very Ven. Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche
Deeply respected for his scholarship and realisation by all 4 Lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, Khenpo Rinpoche, scholar and yogin, received the Geshe Lharampa degree at Buxa, India, where he successfully defended the Shentong doctrine in a debate attended by the 4 major schools of Tibetan Buddhism. As senior abbot of the Nalanda Institute in Rumtek, Sikkim, he taught there for many years and is held in highest esteem by everyone. Rinpoche spent many years in retreat in Tibet and the Himalayas. In 1975, H.H. the Sixteenth Gyalwang Karmapa requested him to visit the West where he has trained and produced many western translators through in-depth study of Tibetan scriptures. He established Marpa Institute in Nepal for translators in 1986 and has nunneries in Yolmo, Nepal and in Bhutan. At the request of H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul III, Khenpo Rinpoche successfully initiated and guided the Mahamudra retreat centre and the Rigpe Dorje program at Pullahari. Through his wisdom and compassion, he fulfilled the intention of H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul III creating an environment for study and practice at Pullahari. Khenpo Rinpoche has also written many books and commentaries to great texts which are published and distributed free for the benefit of students and practitioners.

Drupon Khenpo Lodro Namgial
Drupon Khenpo Lodro Namgial completed the 9-year Acharya program at Nalanda Institute, Rumtek Monastery. He studied under the guidance of Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. After his graduation, he was appointed one of the Khenpos of Nalanda Institute where he taught for two years. Following that, he entered three-year retreat at Pullahari Monastery under Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. When he completed the retreat, he was appointed Drupon (retreat master) of Pullahari Monastery. This combination of immense learning and intensive meditation is clearly evident in his teachings. His way of making even the most complex and subtle Dharma subjects immediately accessible to students is a constant inspiration to all.

Khenpo Chokey Gyaltsen
Khenpo Chokey Gyaltsen graduated from Nalanda Institute in Rumtek, Sikkim, in 1991. After his graduation, he was appointed a Khenpo at the Institute along with Drupon Khenpo Lodro Namgial and seven others from the same graduating class that year. He taught in Nalanda Insitute for one and a half years and joined Pullahari Monastery in 1992 to serve the projects and activities of H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche at Pullahari. Today he resides in Pullahari Monastery and also travels to help guide and teach at His Eminences centres in S.E.Asia, Africa, Europe and Canada.
