The organisations were founded by the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche to assist and implement projects and programs for educational, medical, spiritual and social benefit. The Jamgon Kongtrul Foundations were established more recently in continuation of the activities began by the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche.
